ASTRE Air International understands the decision to purchase
an ex-military aircraft and takes that decision very seriously.
First, we begin by studying your
aircraft's records to see what type of maintenance the aircraft has
received and what, if any, damage has occurred in the aircraft's
past. Then we conduct a detailed inspection of the aircraft itself
to evaluate the condition of the aircraft and to compare that condition
to what is reported in the maintenance records. Here we determine
if the aircraft needs only a routine inspection and servicing or
more in-depth work to return it to a safe, airworthy condition.
If these inspections reveal that
more detailed maintenance is required, we systematically disassemble
the aircraft and begin a type of servicing universally known as
"IRAN" (Inspect and Repair as Necessary). At this level
of maintenance every component is inspected and repaired to return
it to a condition of safe operation. Following this maintenance,
the aircraft is reassembled and test flown prior to delivery to
its owner.
The most involved type of maintenance
is the overhaul. Here the aircraft is disassembled and regardless
of the apparent condition of the various components... they are disassembled,
inspected, repaired, upgraded, re-assembled and re-installed in
accordance with the component's servicing documents.
During the course of what ever type
of maintenance is determined to be appropriate, we take the opportunity
to remove any obsolete systems and modify or install new components
that will increase both the safety and utility of the aircraft.
Upon completion of your aircraft,
we can handle to Airworthiness Certification and development of
specialized maintenance programs.
We never lose sight of the fact
that the return of the aircraft to a safe operational condition
is our main objective!
In addition to the maintenance of
your aircraft there are other considerations that we at ASTRE Air
International can help you with.
We can assist you with the training,
both initial and recurrent, of both the pilots and the maintenance
personnel.
We can provide the Ground Support
Equipment that will allow you to more safely and conveniently operate
your aircraft. This equipment consists of tugs, start-carts, maintenance
platforms and any special tooling.

parts, components, rotatables and consumables your aircraft will require!
